What a week!

Wow, we have been really busy lately . . . let me tell you what we have been up to. Well last weekend, mommy & daddy took a mini vacation to Las Vegas. I guess they had fun, but I bet we had more fun. Taryn & I went to Mama & Papa's house in Bismarck. We love to go to thier house - they let us do anything we want. I invented a new game - called "Tyson in a Box"

On Sunday, we went to mommy's cousins' confirmation. Here is a picture of Taryn with her new spring dress.

When we were there, I hit the ball around a little. I am trying to get in some practice, so that maybe daddy will take me with him golfing this summer.

Mommy & daddy brought back this helmet and sword, from some place called Caesar's Palace. I think they thought it was cooler than I did . . I haven't played with it yet - that helmet hurts my head.

Thank you Mama & Papa for taking care of us! We had lots of fun and I know mommy & daddy appreciated your help.

Now we come to today - It is both Mother's Day and daddy's 30th birthday! Happy birthday daddy!

We got to go to the zoo! I love the zoo. Our zoo has "kangagoos," "crocdiles," & "moneys" ! Here are some pictures of our day at the zoo.

So last weekend, daddy got my swingset all set up ready for me to play - and I played every night this last week - except Friday. That is because Watertown got 19" of snow in 1 day. It started out as rain, so mommy had to dig out my winter coat - I was getting used to wearing my cool "dirt bike" sweatshirt that Aunt H got me last year. After a morning of rain and snow, it got really yucky! They closed mommy's work at 2:00 and she had to drive across town to come and get me and Taryn. It was really scary for her. Here are some pictures once we got home.

The driveway was drifted in, so mommy had to park in the street. Daddy's friends came over on Saturday and help dig mommy's van out of the street and move it into the garage. Daddy was out of town this weekend, so it was hard for mommy to shovel the snow, when she had to watch me and Taryn.

Most of the snow has melted already & I hope it doesn't come back!

4 Month Check-up

Taryn had her 4 month check-up today. She passed with flying colors! Here are here stats:

Length - 26" 97%

Head - 43.5 cm 95%

Weight - 17 lbs, 13 oz 100+%

That means that if you take 100 baby girls born on the same day as Taryn, she is bigger than all of them. Her weight was off of the chart for a 4 month old. Her doctor was not concerned at all, he said she is growing well and doing great. Here are a few photos from tonight.

My New Swing Set

Just like a lot of things around here, I had to help my dad get my new swing set ready for the summer. We had to attach the slide on Sunday. Daddy gave me a hammer and let me work with him.

I think I am going to have lots of fun on this new swing set this summer!

Koehn's Funniest Home Videos

Hey everyone -

Since my mom was sick last week & we got 10" of snow on Friday, we haven't got to do anything fun. So here are some videos that mommy finally got off of her camera.

Here is Taryn - she was in her car seat and daddy was flipping the canopy up & down. Watch her eyes - it is cute.



This video is from Easter. I got into the Fruit Loops and made a big mess. Aunt Heather took this video. If watch close - you can tell, by my body language, when my mommy came in the kitchen.





This video is from when we went down to Sioux Falls to visit baby Amelia. I found this cool toy for their puppy, Shelby. I think she thought I was going to play with her. Maybe this summer, when we visit, Shelby & I can play this game outside!

Meet Amelia

Today we went to Sioux Falls to meet our new cousin Amelia. She is so little! She was born on March 26. Here is a picture of daddy and Taryn and Uncle Jay and Amelia. It won't be long until Amelia and Taryn are running around getting into my stuff.

We had lots of fun at Aunt Chris & Uncle Jay's house today. Everybody was busy taking picture of the babies, so I made mommy take a picture of me.
