Happy Birthday to our Papa !

We are in Bismarck this weekend, helping Papa celebrate his birthday. Even though it is cold outside, we are having lots of fun inside.

Papa found the perfect place for Taryn to sleep.
But I have had a big decision to make for my sleeping arrangements . . . top or bottom?

Happy Birthday, Papa. I am sad we only could stay a little bit. We will be back at Easter and you know you are always welcome to come to my house!

Happy Birthday Papa/Dad!

And Tyson - I don't know why you felt like you needed to take the pugs' kennels, when it appears that Mama has created you your very own kennel, complete with guard rails, on the bed. Or perhaps you were just searching for treats?

I think he was depositing treats for the puppies. We went through many bags of treats this week-end! And Diesel enjoyed the Laffy-Taffy that was left in his kennel, too. Lucy however wasn't very impressed with the Taffy.
Thanks for coming to see us - we miss you already and you aren't even home yet.
Love you, lots.

The plan is to return to ND at Easter. We would love to see everyone, too!

I just want to put this out there - I am also planning on being in ND over easter - I say this not because I assume people will want to rush down and see me - but to assert that I have first dibs over all of you on holding Taryn.

And we were going to invite everyone to come over on Saturday to see Taryn and Tyson while they were here. The forecast scared us into not sending advance notice and when the "worst blizzard since the 80's" didn't happen, we thought it was too late to do an invitation.
Sorry it didn't work out, but we did have good intentions, right Krys?

What? Didn't you say to me "Nobody can come down to see my grandkids", mom?

he he

Just kidding - we weren't sure we were coming down until Friday afternoon. So it was very "last minute"

Everyone - feel free to come to Keith & Rita's for Easter - it will be a buffet extravaganza :)

PS - I am writing this from CO (work trip) and I want to say I miss my kiddos a TON! (and Jeff too)

Tyson-looks like you had fun at Gma and Gpas! I'd pick the top bunk if I were you!
