If you could eat just 1 food for the rest of your life . . .

What would it be? I know what we would eat, it's the one thing that we ask for everyday. CRACKERS! We could eat crackers for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We love crackers.

What is your favorite food?

Getting Ready

So when I came home from daycare today, I had a new dance to show everyone. I learned a version of the chicken dance. I had to show mommy right away. I am ready to "shake my butt" at Aunt H's reception.

Watch out ladies - I've got some moves!

Taryn's First Piggy Tails

Taryn's hair finally long enough to do something with! Mommy bought some little pony tail holders for Taryn. The other morning, she gave Taryn her toothbrush to play with, and then mommy started putting in pigtails. Taryn sat so good and let mommy do whatever she wanted. Look how cute! In fact, I told mommy "Oh, she is so cute" after I saw her. The piggy tails did not stay in all day - but it was a good start. Here are some pictures from the front and top.

Better than a Power Wheels

Check this out - we have the coolest aunt EVER!!! She bought this new car for us today. Now I know that she has said in the past that she was gonna get us a Power Wheels Jeep or Escalade, but I guess she decided to go a different route.

Don't you love it?

It is so cute and little. Taryn & I will have lots of fun driving this around when the snow melts. There is room for all our stuffed animals and toys. I even think that both Taryn & I will both be able to fit inside at that same time!

Look at it sitting next to Uncle Sam's truck.

Oh . . . wait a minute - Mommy just said that the car isn't for us, that it is Aunt H's new car. She finally got her MINI Cooper. Cool car Aunt H, but it is a good thing that Gus is a little puppy.

Happy Valentines Day!

What a fun day! This morning we got pancakes for breakfast, we LOVE pancakes. Taryn makes a mess, so mommy took her shirt off when she ate breakfast. Here is a picture of her by her pony. If you look close, you can see that she had sticky syrup hands and rubbed her hair (it was sticking all over).

Then we got to have a heart shaped pizza for lunch. It was so yummy!

This morning, mommy made cupcakes. She asked me if I wanted to help stir the mix, but when I looked at and was grossed out - it was yucky looking. But after lunch, we helped her decorate them. As you can see below, I took my time and concentrated very hard on making them look good.

Taryn, on the other hand, just decided to eat them as is. She made a giant mess! (that is my new favorite word - everything is giant . . . giant hug, giant kiss, giant milk, etc)

Here is a cute picture of us with all our valentines' stuffed animals. As you can see, I didn't want Taryn to hold any of them, I thought they should all be on my lap.

Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is our Papa's birthday. We don't get to see him (& mama) as much as we would like, but when we do get to see them - we have lots of fun.

Here are some pictures from the past - you may have seen some of these before.

Papa & I when we visited Aunt H last summer.

Papa & Taryn when she was 2 months old - I think she learned fast that papa is an excellent snuggler.

Here is just one of the many pictures that both me & Taryn are hangin' out with papa.

Here we are again - this was last Christmas. I am not sure how much longer we can both fit on his lap. He may have to get a bigger chair.

Happy Birthday again Papa - We love you and can't wait to see you again!

I have never heard them called drums before . . .

This is Krystal -

So with the "Great Blog Challenge of 2009" in front of me, I have been on the look out for things to blog about this week. Since I blogged on Sunday, I only have to do 1 more by Saturday. Here is something cute/disturbing that just happened - & since I told Megan that it should involve a picture or a minimum amount of words, let me know if this counts or not - as you will read, be glad there is no picture.

So I was just reading through the new blog posts and commenting away (another stipulation of the challenge). Tyson comes walking out of my bedroom, holding one of my bras in his hands. I glance over and see him coming towards me. Before I could even ask what he was doing, he laid my bra on the chair & says "look mommy, drums!" & proceeds to starting pounding on the cups like there were bongos. I didn't even know what to say, I just got up, picked up the bra and put it away.

Really ??

What's New?

Not much - it has been really cold so we haven't done much around here. But I thought I would share some photos from Christmas and other stuff. Enjoy.

I helped mommy make some Christmas cookies.

Here Taryn is enjoying unwrapping presents - she got her first Cabbage Patch Doll.

Here is Taryn in her pretty Christmas dress

Here we are with our Papa - this was Taryn's favorite spot (or maybe Papa's favorite spot for her) when we were there at Christmas
Daddy got a punching bag and I wanted to try on the gloves.

Taryn likes playing with my puzzles

I got these maganetic shapes from Mama & Papa. I built this "house" one day. I was so proud of my house!

Mommy got American Idol for her Wii, but she has a hard time playing, because I won't share the microphone. I like to talk into it all the time.

Taryn got this horsey from Aunt H for her birthday - at first she is a little scared of it, but after awhile she finds out that it is really fun. I had to try it out first for her.

Here is a little video of Taryn. It's good to know she hasn't lost her "growl".
