Counting

I have to give my mom an "A" for effort. She has been trying to teach me to count. She tries to keep it simple, and stick with 1-5. I take it 1 step simpler and stick with 2 & 9. Yesterday when I was coloring, there was a page of sports balls. I decided to count these for my mom, and she caught it on video. I think I did a good job, I even counted them more than once, to make sure I got all of them.

Fact of life - it is important to know about two and nine! Good numbers to start with, the rest will fill in.
Love you, Tyson.

So when I saw this business about 2 and 9, I immediately Googled Mr. Darrell Green to see if maybe that was his jersey number, thinking perhaps Jeff was teaching him the most important numbers first. Turns out I was close, but he is in fact #28.

My next concern was that maybe, with this new baby on the way, you've been to busy to properly practice these things with Ty - because the last time I heard him count it went something like "one, two, two, two, bibe." He's slipping......The only solution I have is that you send him to see me for a while - I'll teach him how to count and sign his numbers......

And other important things like "I want"... How about if Tyson comes to Papa and Mama's for a while and then Heather can come here to teach him these things???
